Cowboys vs. Ravens: Offensive, defensive impact players in Week 3
Last week we accurately predicted both CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson as impact players for the Dallas Cowboys offense and came close with Donovan Ezeiruaku. While Ezeiruaku had a good game, he fell short of being a true impact by failing to sack QB Jayden Daniels when he had the opportunity.
Today, we are hoping our predictions of who the Cowboys offensive and defensive impact players will be comes to fruition once again. We believe the players listed below could help sway the game in Dallas’ favor this week by making a game changing player to at some point in this Week 3 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.
Offensive impact player – WR George Pickens
George Pickens hasn’t exactly been lighting up the stat sheet through the first two weeks of the 2026 NFL season. After some uncharacteristic dropped passes in the season opener against the Giants, he’s only managed to catch a total of nine passes for 68 yards into games so far this year. Expect that to change this week against the Baltimore Ravens, a team he’s highly familiar with dating back to his days with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As a former division rival, Pickens knows all about the Ravens and has been productive against them in the past. Now with the Cowboys, that knowledge should pay dividends this week, especially since more attention could be paid to CeeDee Lamb after his big game last week against the Commanders. We predict he’ll see a lot of Marlon Humphrey in coverage this week and end up having his first 100+ yard receiving game of the season.
Defensive impact player – DT Quinnen Williams
Much like George Pickens, Quinnen Williams hasn’t exactly been living up to everyone’s expectations through the first two weeks of the 2026 NFL season. He’s only generated five total pressures as a pass rusher so far this season with zero QB sacks according to PFF. Some have started questioning his fit in Christian Parker’s scheme, while others wonder whether or not he is fully healthy. Whatever the case, things could turn around for him this week against the Ravens.
The Ravens offensive line is currently allowing a 44% pressure rate through the first two weeks of the season, which is the third-worst in the entire NFL. The interior of their OL is particularly vulnerable after letting All-Pro C Tyler Lindnerbaum walk in free agency. Add it all up and this creates a favorable matchup for No. 92 to be an absolute menace as both the run defender and pass rusher against both RB Derrick Henry and QB Lamar Jackson this week.
