Cowboys injuries: P.J. Locke, Cobie Durant DNP
After only two weeks into the season, the NFL has seen many teams ravaged by key player injuries. For the Cowboys, who need to stack wins in short order, the next opportunity comes against a team who historically has had their number.
For the Cowboys defense, it’ll be essential that they are able to limit explosive plays from a depleted Ravens team and keep their offense firing. Here’s the latest we know about the injuries ahead of the game.
For the Cowboys, Cobie Durant (hamstring) did not practice. Also not practicing with the team were P.J. Locke (foot), DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring), and Malik Hooker (forearm). All seem unlikely to play with two DNPs to open the week.
On Thursday, the Ravens were still without receiver Zay Flowers (hamstring) and offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley (toe). Flowers is a big part of the Baltimore offense and is a dynamic weapon the team relies upon at multiple levels in the field in a variety of offensive looks.
Without him and Stanley, thats good news for a Dallas secondary who are also working through a spell of injuries. Defensively, Teddye Buchanan (knee) and Nnamdi Madubuike (neck) were full participants. Madubuike hasn’t played since last year, and despite practicing fully the last two days has been non-committal about whether he will make his season debut Sunday.
