Odds are, Cowboys will face Russell Wilson in 2024

Russell Wilson may no longer be the feared dual-threat quarterback he once was. But the nine-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl XLVIII champ still has plenty left in the tank, and now he’s on the move.

Wilson was given permission this week by the Denver Broncos to meet with other teams prior to next week’s start of free agency. With over 43,000 career passing yards and just seven missed games over a 12-year career, he’ll be a stabilizing presence at the most important position on the field for somebody in 2024.

And chances are, the Cowboys will see him across the line of scrimmage at some point.

The nine NFL clubs with the highest odds of signing Wilson this offseason account for a whopping seven games of the Cowboys’ 2024 regular-season schedule, so simple math suggests the Dallas defense and new coordinator Mike Zimmer may want to start preparing now for a showdown with DangerRuss, who owns a 5-1 all-time record against the Cowboys.

Here’s a look at the opponents with the highest odds (according to DraftKings Sportsbook) of landing Wilson, along with their respective QB situations.
