Can the Cowboys start stacking wins together?
We lead with the good news. The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. It was essential. The win moved the Cowboys to 3-4 and kept them within striking range of the New York Giants in the NFC East. Season not over just yet.
The Cowboys are also getting the aid of a soft schedule coming up. They face the Arizona Cardinals (2-5), Indianapolis Colts (2-5), San Francisco 49ers (6-1), Tennessee Titans (1-6), and the Philadelphia Eagles (2-5). Only one out of their next five games is against a good football team.
Whether the Cowboys can take advantage of that schedule is still in doubt. For one thing, they are still a work in progress as a football team. They can lose to anybody at any time.
Another thing is the Cardinals. The Cowboys have lost eight out of the last nine times these two teams have played each other, and the Cardinals have run out plenty of bad teams over that stretch.
So what is your call BTB? Will Dallas start stacking some victories together and win on Sunday? Or will the curse of the Cardinals strike again?
