Are the Cowboys already facing must-win territory? After losing to the New York Giants, the Cowboys are facing an 0-2 hole. History suggests that if the Cowboys were to lose this weekend, their chances of making the playoffs become slim.

It’s time to get things in gear. That begins with concluding with a sharp outing at practice Friday. The Cowboys injury report today provided the expected news about a couple of players.

DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) was ruled out. This was pretty much known after he sustained the injury against New York. That means someone else will be relaying the coaches’ signals to the defense this week. Malik Hooker (forearm) is also not playing this week as he recovers from a fractured forearm. Ajani Cornelius (knee) does not carry an injury designation and will play Sunday.

The Commanders will be without two key players this weekend. Frankie Luvu (groin) and Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) were ruled out after not practicing this week. Javon Kinlaw (back) was limited today after sitting out yesterday, and is questionable. Finally, Dorance Armstrong (knee), K’Lavon Chaisson (knee), and Odafe Oweh (calf) were limited today and do not have an injury designation for this week’s game.
