Dallas Cowboys rookie draft class jersey numbers revealed
This is very important information.
The Dallas Cowboys established their rookie draft class last weekend and as a result they hopefully improved their team by a significant margin for 2026. Until we see these players on the field we won’t be able to fully know that, but we can certainly hope and hypothesize.
When we do see these players out on the field they will be wearing Cowboys uniforms and obviously jersey numbers as a part of them. Rookie jersey numbers are always the subject of great fascination and at long last we have them for this year’s rookie class as the team website listed them on Friday.

- 18: Caleb Downs
- 57: Malachi Lawrence
- 55: Jaishawn Barham
- 67: Drew Shelton
- 29: Devin Moore
- 99: LT Overton
- 83: Anthony Smith
There has been some discussion around Caleb Downs wearing number 18 at the moment as he wore number 2 in college. Many fans want to see him wear it professionally, but at the moment free agent signee Cobie Durant is listed at number 2. Downs mentioned, casually for what it’s worth, that he may have to negotiate for the number at some point.
While it is great to get rookie jersey numbers there are also a number of new players on the Cowboys this offseason and some veterans who were on the team who changed numbers. These are them.

There has been some chatter on social media that Malik Hooker is switching from 28 to 24 and that Shavon Revel is taking 28 as a result. For what it’s worth Revel wore 34 as a rookie last year and Jalen Thompson is listed with that number as noted, but at the moment both Hooker and Revel are listed with their previous numbers.
It is important to note that all of this is still subject to change. Please keep that in mind.
