BTB Monday Discussion: Would a veteran linebacker trade complete things?

Before the weekend broke things got rather exciting around the water cooler of Cowboys Nation when Nick Harris reported that the Cowboys are interested in Azeez Al-Shaair and/or Jordyn Brooks as fixes for the linebacker position.

Looking at the offseason overall to date there is no doubt that the Cowboys still need serious help at linebacker. You can make an argument that if they pick it up, particularly by way of one of these avenues, that they will be fully and totally set for the NFL draft.

Do you agree with that, though? Would a trade for a veteran linebacker of this quality make you feel like the team is ready to walk into the war room in a month?

Let us know what you think in the comments below, particularly if you think that more work other than something at linebacker has to be done.

This is certainly very exciting, though.
