What do you most want to see from the Cowboys on Thursday night?
The 2025 NFL Draft is just about here. A few more days and we will know the name of the first-round pick for the Dallas Cowboys.
For NFL fans, it is a milestone marker along the path of the offseason. For Cowboys fans, it's another moment to distance ourselves from the 2024 season, one of the more frustrating ones in recent Cowboys history. The front-office's inaction during the offseason before 2024 set the stage for a dark time. It all culminated with Mike McCarthy losing his job, Brian Schottenheimer being hired, and a new era beginning.
And this draft will reflect what Schottenheimer wants to do in 2025. He'll have influence, along with Stephen and Jerry Jones, and Will McClay.
We've focused a lot on who the Cowboys might pick in this draft, but what about when they will pick? Right now, they hold the 12th overall pick. They have three basic options with that pick. Make the pick, trade up, or trade down.
