Predicting Cowboys' remaining schedule: How many wins in Dallas' final 11 games?
Back when the schedule was released in May, there were numerous conflicting thoughts about what kind of season 2024 would be for the Dallas Cowboys. What was known at the time was that the Cowboys didn’t do much in free agency, had a coaching staff prepping for one season with no assurances about the future, the front office addressed the offensive line holes via the draft, and the team had three key players who were starting to make noise about their contract situations.
Micah Parsons hadn’t missed spring work and Mike Zimmer’s defensive implementation yet. CeeDee Lamb hadn’t missed the entire offseason yet while holding out for contract demands that could’ve been given much earlier. The campaign to make Jerry Jones astutely aware of the disdain fans have for both his interference and inactivity hadn’t been fully realized. But all that happened, and the Cowboys now sit at 3-3 with a long second-half stretch ahead of them.
How will they fare?
Here is a look back at how we thought things would go, have they’ve gone, and how we now view the rest of the 2024 schedule. Will Dallas be able to earn enough wins to return to the playoffs? A game-by-game prediction.
