Ranking NFC East offensive lines as roster churn hits everywhere

Offensive line play has as much to do with coaching and development as it does talent. The Philadelphia Eagles have been a top OL for years and have maintained their status by drafting high pedigree and developing late potential. A failure at either means a dependence on the other and an easy backslide if disrupted. A team like the Dallas Cowboys can have three All-Pro players but still end up ranked as a middle-of-the-pack OL because they allowed too many pressures and couldn’t move defenders in the run game.

Ranking the offensive lines in the NFC East isn’t easy, as the two top teams are replacing Hall of Fame players in Jason Kelce and Tyron Smith. Both had top-10 win rates with young, unknown players. The Washington Commanders and New York Giants are adding assets, but they need their younger players to finally breakout to be in the class of the Cowboys and especially the Eagles.
