2024 Draft: Cowboys remaining needs going into Day 2
The Cowboys addressed one major need in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft when they selected Tyler Guyton to presumably play left tackle. The former Oklahoma tackle played primarily on the right side in college so a transition will need to be made, but by most accounts, he should be up to the task.
The addition allows the Cowboys to keep Tyler Smith at left guard where he just enjoyed a breakout season. Expected to be an immediate starter in 2024, Guyton will undoubtedly undergo growing pains as he transitions to the pro game. The Cowboys will likely be committed with the rookie so they can comfortably scratch LT off their to-do list.
Looking to Day 2 of the 2024 NFL draft, there are plenty of needs remaining sure to keep the Cowboys busy and possibility even opportunistic.
