Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy eyeing these prospects and more at Alabama's pro day

The Alabama Crimson Tide had more players on NFL rosters last season than any other college program, and they seem more than ready to send yet another sizable batch of outstanding prospects to the next level in this year’s draft.

The school hosted its pro day on Wednesday, and Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was among those in Tuscaloosa to get an up close and personal look at the players who shone brightest in Nick Saban’s final storied year as Alabama head coach.

There’s a top offensive lineman and a running back who might make a sneaky-good late-round pick; both are at positions of obvious need for Dallas. But there are also intriguing names to watch at cornerback and edge rusher, and even a wide receiver with a knack for deep balls and the contested catch.

Here are just a few of the prospects who may have caught Coach McCarthy’s eye at the day’s workout.
