It’s time to get bold when talking Packers and Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers renew their playoff rivalry on Sunday as the two teams square off at AT&T Stadium. Before things kick off, here are three bold predictions for this Super Wild Card Weekend matchup.

1) Jake Ferguson records a season-high 8 receptions for 90 yards

If the Dallas Cowboys are going to win this game. tight end Jake Ferguson will be a big reason why. The Packers’ defense is vulnerable in the secondary and has struggled against tight ends all season.

Ferguson has become one of Dak Prescott’s favorite targets, and the two have developed a strong connection, especially on targets in the middle of the field.

The Prescott to Ferguson connection will be on full display Sunday as the tight end records a career-high eight receptions and plays a pivotal role in Dallas’ offensive success.

2) Cowboys’ defense intercepts Jordan Love twice

Over the last eight weeks, Packers’ quarterback Jordan Love has done an outstanding job of taking care of the football. Love has thrown just one interception during this eight-game span and his ability to not turn the football over is a big reason the Packers are 6-2 over those games.

If you dive a little deeper into Love’s turnover numbers you’ll see he is benefitting from some luck. According to Playerprofiler, Love has 20 interceptable passes (11th) and 29 danger plays (9th) on the season. Most of these did come in the first half of the year, but he still benefited from some turnover luck over the last eight games.

On Sunday, things will flip and Dallas’ consistent pressure will force Love into some mistakes. For the fourth time this season, Love throws multiple interceptions in a game as the young signal-caller falls back into some old habits.

3) Tony Pollard breaks his longest run of the season in a critical moment

It’s been an up-and-down season for Cowboys’ running back Tony Pollard. However, over the last five games Pollard has started to look like his old self.

The 26-year-old running back has 17 first-down runs, seven broken tackles, and 166 rushing YAC over that five-game span. He’s starting to look like the old Tony Pollard, and on Sunday we’ll see him turn back the clock once again.

Pollard breaks his biggest run of the season in a critical drive at the start of the third quarter, extending Dallas’ lead to double digits and giving them some much-needed cushion.
